You must have AutoCAD 2017 or AutoCAD LT 2017 installed and activated on your computer before proceeding. The language pack installation wizard will not work without detecting the base program.

Adding a language pack does create a second, separate installation of AutoCAD. Instead, it integrates new interface and documentation files directly into your existing 2017 version. The result is that a single installed product can support several languages simultaneously.
