However, to be fully legal, you must own a legitimate copy of Minecraft Java Edition. Most developers of Eagler require you to supply your own minecraft.jar assets (though some public builds include placeholder textures).
You can export your worlds as .epk files to back them up or move them to a different device. You can also import existing vanilla Minecraft 1.8 worlds as .zip files.
