The narrative follows a young, newly hired publishing company employee referred to as "Me" (Hiroaki Mayama). He quickly becomes infatuated with his senior coworker, Kana (Mitsu Dan). To the office, Kana projects a clean, poised, and professional demeanor. However, after a series of failed attempts to get closer to her, the protagonist receives a blunt text message out of nowhere: "Let's have sex tonight."
