While PCA Notes for the exact version you're using (318-14) may be challenging to find officially, the principles behind the notes remain highly relevant. The existing PCA Notes for ACI 318-11 are still an excellent educational tool for grasping the fundamentals of working with ACI 318. Here’s how you can best use the available resources.

If your company or university has a Knovel subscription, search Knovel for "PCA Notes on ACI 318-14." You can then download PDF sections.

The ACI 318-14 code is a widely adopted standard for the design of reinforced concrete structures in the United States. The code provides minimum requirements for the design and construction of reinforced concrete buildings, including provisions for materials, analysis, and design. However, the code can be complex and difficult to interpret, particularly for practitioners without extensive experience in concrete design.

Many local municipalities and international regions still build under codes tied directly to the International Building Code (IBC) editions that reference ACI 318-14.

The primary purpose of the PCA Notes is to provide practical, "how-to-use" guidance for the building code. Each chapter starts with an overview of the latest code changes and includes discussions on the reasoning behind the provisions, known as the "spirit of the code." The most valuable part for many users is the inclusion of fully worked-out design examples that solve real-world problems, helping to bridge the gap between abstract code text and practical application.

The PCA Notes are widely regarded as the most comprehensive guide for mastering ACI 318-14.

Donations

This software is supplied in a binary format ('as is') for free - the source code is not available.

There are many expenses I incur in maintaining the WinGeno project that may not be apparent, such as web hosting costs, and the costs of new operating systems and software I have purchased specifically for writing and testing WinGeno. If you desire, you may send me donations of any amount towards my efforts on keeping the WinGeno project alive.

Although donations received are very much appreciated, those that do make donations do not automatically receive preferential treatment over those that don't.
