If you've tried all the above steps and the error is still appearing, there are a few final things you can check.

Click on the Installed Files (or Local Files ) tab on the left.

If PUBG is trying to write new file data but is blocked by Windows permissions, it will report a corruption error. Close Steam/Epic completely.
