If she is strict, loud, and unyielding, she will likely have excellent test scores and quiet rows. However, the labels shift. She is no longer "strict"; she is "mean," "scary," or worse—a "b****." A man who runs a tight ship is "firm but fair." A woman who does the same is "hostile."
