The second half jumps seven years. Gautham and Kundhavi are now settled in Chennai with a young daughter. Enter Ishwarya (Bhumika Chawla), a single mother and Gautham’s former lover from his college days in Mumbai. The calm of their domestic life is disrupted when Kundavi discovers Gautham’s old college diary. The diary reveals a passionate, past romance between Gautham and (Bhumika Chawla). In a display of immense emotional maturity, Kundavi arranges for Gautham to reunite with Ishwarya for one day to find closure.
