By 2007, the market for direct-to-video (DTV) movies was booming. Unbound by the strict censorship rules of theatrical releases, Beta House was allowed to go completely off the rails. It fully embraced its Unrated rating, pushing the boundaries of gross-out comedy and nudity far past what the original theatrical films attempted.
