The movie picks up where the first film left off, with Borat now married to a Russian woman, Oksana (played by Maria Bakalova), and having a daughter together. However, his wife is now leaving him, and Borat sets out on a journey across America to try and win her back. Along the way, he encounters a range of characters, from politicians to everyday citizens, and gets into various forms of trouble.
