Security is not a one-time setup. If a third party might have stolen a secret key or observed your password, it is critical to reissue secret keys immediately. Many systems link the smart key to a mobile app; when you reissue the key, the secret key is automatically changed in the app. Make it a habit to change your master password every six months to a year.
