“I was hanging out by the pool with my boyfriend,” Steele recalls. “It was Florida, it was hot, we were drinking, playing around, swimming. I went inside, put on a white tank top that said 'LIFEGUARD' on it. I jumped in the pool, jumped out, flipped my hair back and said, ‘Take a picture of me, I’m like Bo Derek 10 years later.’” That playful moment took a serious turn about a week later when her boyfriend asked if he could submit her photo to a "Hot Wife" contest on a website, with a $600 prize. Steele agreed, won, and never looked back.
